Testing my first post..

Things I am thankful for:

Incredible support of my "cheering section" back home

Host family – my sweet host mom in particular

RAIN – the coolness it brings and fresh, clean water

The feeling of safety – a safe house/host family

Fellow PCV friends– especially the bonds I made during training

My health – living is challenge enough, I can’t imagine having to do it being sick

Aposto (my counterpart) and NGO co-workers

Sweet treats-- cookies and 'ice cream' in Sokode

Cold drinks

Shade trees and the wind

Electricity

Ability to sit on my porch and read for as long as I want each day!

Slow mornings watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee.

Generosity of the people of Lama-Tessi.

On-time transportation.

Swimming pool in Kara.
